Your Voice. Your Streets. Your Safety.

Your voice can help save lives in Orange County! Join us today as a partner in pedestrian safety and help to make the streets safer for everyone in our community — including our kids.

Every 70 minutes, a pedestrian is killed in the United States. Every 8 minutes, someone walking is seriously injured. Last year alone, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported over 7,500 pedestrian deaths and more than 67,000 injuries. These aren’t just numbers—they represent our neighbors, friends, and family.

Any single life lost or seriously harmed on our streets is unacceptable! Humans make mistakes, and pedestrians are particularly vulnerable. Streets should be designed to safely accommodate human error without tragic outcomes.

Nobody knows your streets like you do. You see the intersections where cars don’t slow down. You notice poorly lit corners. You feel the areas that just aren’t safe. Often, you can identify hazards before a tragedy occurs. Share your local insights and report pedestrian hazards in your area using this simple form! You don’t need to witness a crash to take action. Your observations can help address hazards before they cause harm.

Safety is a shared responsibility! Our team takes your concerns very seriously. We review each report, conduct initial investigations, communicate your concerns directly to city officials, and collaborate with them to find solutions. Progress and outcomes are transparently available in our “Action Tracker,” allowing you to follow your report—and others, if you’re interested—from submission to resolution.

Together, we can transform your local insights into meaningful safety improvements—before another tragedy happens.

Your involvement matters greatly—take action now!
